HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY:

TH Plastics, Inc., a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Tiffin, Ohio molding division.

JOB OVERVIEW: The Human Resource Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of human resource experience or equivalent years’ experience in Human Resource field
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and computer programs
• Regular on site attendance

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops and administers various Human Resource plans and procedures for all company personnel
• Plans, organizes and controls all activates of the department.
• Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems
• Manages the employee progressive discipline procedure and terminations.
• Enforces plant rules of conduct and policies.
• Meets weekly with employees to cover any new company changes or updates
• Maintains department records and reports.
• Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars
• Evaluates reports, decisions and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals
• Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws
• Actively participates in the safety and wellness of the plant operation.
• Manages the workers compensation activity for the plant
