HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT

JOB SUMMARY:

TH Plastics, Inc., a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Findlay, Ohio molding division.

JOB OVERVIEW: This position performs routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record-keeping. Additionally, assisting various office personnel as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of computer programs; Microsoft office, Google Docs, Gmail
• Regular on site attendance
• Previous HR experience is a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
• Excellent human relations and communication skills

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answering incoming phone calls, screening and directing calls to appropriate personnel and/ or voicemail
• Greeting visitors courteously, determining their needs and directing them to the appropriate personnel, when applicable
• Maintaining document files for HR and other office personnel
• Data entry into HRIS system and manufacturing ERP system
• Assisting the HR Manager with functions in the HR department
• Manage and inventory office supplies
• Receiving, sorting and distributing all incoming mail; retrieving outgoing mail daily
• Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures
• Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information
• All other related duties as assigned
• Regular on-site attendance is required
