QUALITY ENGINEER
JOB SUMMARY:
TH Plastics, Inc., a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Bowling Green, Ohio molding division.
JOB OVERVIEW:
The quality control engineer position works directly with quality assurance supervisors, analyzing manufacturing processes for improvement using various methods of testing and application.

SCHEDULE:
- 1st Shift
- Monday – Friday
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Continuously drive quality control improvements on the manufacturing floor
- Monitor quality department personnel to make sure all requirements are being met
- Assist Manufacturing Engineering department with developing and documenting work instructions for all manufacturing processes
- Interact with customers on a regular basis to discuss any issues and review corrective actions
- Perform audits on internal processes and procedures to maintain compliance with 3rd party certifications
- Review launch documentation; PFMEA, Control Plan, Inspection Plans
- Contribute to plant-wide cost reduction initiatives
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to work with all members of the team
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Proficient using statistical analysis tools; Six sigma certifications preferred
- 4 yr degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Must be self motivated, work well independently and have excellent time management skills
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in Injection Molding is a plus
- Experience using IQMS software is a plus
