INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ADMINISTRATOR

JOB SUMMARY:

TH Plastics, Inc., a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Findlay, Ohio molding division.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshooting email and Internet connectivity, configuration of computers and handheld devices, networking infrastructure, virtualization, wireless and broadband connectivity.

• Detailed tracking of support request resolution and project documentation

• Implementation, maintenance and development of internal and 3rd party software, including MRP, ERP and Engineering systems

• Ability to teach and train end users directly or through tutorials, comprehensive instruction manuals, and training documents.

• Proactively monitoring backups and disaster-recovery services

• Continual interest in learning about new options and products that will assist in productivity with the ability to learn on your own.

• Strengths in administration, multi-tasking, and organizational skills with superior attention to detail

   

  JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, or IT plus 3-5 years of experience in related industry or positions, or -

• 2 year Degree plus 4-6 years of experience in related industry or positions, or -

• Equivalent military training / experience

   

  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Strong knowledge and experience with most of the following: DNS, Active Directory with a demonstrated understanding of Active Directory Domain Services / Group Policy, Networking, Firewall/Routing, VPN, Databases, Exchange Server, Citrix, VMware, Web Filtering, and Backup Systems

• Preferred experience includes: Enterprise Firewalls, Crystal Reports, Disaster Recovery, Experience in Manufacturing, Administration of an environment with geographically distributed locations, ERP system administration, Experience with Cisco wired and wireless networking, Experience in troubleshooting email and Internet connectivity, and Project management
